Yes, it is not Adsense but something not too different from it.

In essence John Cohen Magic Code is about selling ad space on your website through marketing brokers such as Abrite or Etology. The product is not a code at all but a guide on how to use the system. (You actually get the code from the marketing brokers)

Having discovered this, I was ready to click on that refund button but as I read further, there are quite a few nuggets in the guide.

To his credit, Jon did discuss on strategies and tips to maximise your revenue using this method. He even discussed traffic arbitrage strategy – ie: getting traffic to your website from Google adwords and then turn it around by selling the advertising space on the website.

All I can say if you are thinking of using this strategy is to read the Google and the advertisers terms of service carefully. I suspect in principle Google would not mind selling you their traffic as it does not really affect other advertisers on their network but it pays to be sure.

Verdict

I have mixed feeling about this product. I have never cared or believed any of the “get rich tonight with this system” hype and this one is no different. And you can actually get all the information for free if you are willing to spend some time researching the forums and blogs.

On the other hand, the information are quite valuable and if you have a website, I can truly recommend you read it.

Okay, my final recommendation.

If you have a website, get it – and then see whether the information is worth the asking price. It is sold through clickbank, so there is always the refund option.

If that sounds like a mighty good deal, now I am going to tell you something hardly any marketer would want to touch on…

You can do the same thing for free simply by joining one of Clickbank top selling affilate program.

Isn’t the concept the same? Just drive traffic and make money on every sale without having to think about product creation and business management part.

How is the business model behind Megaredpacket system different?

The Megaredpacket is about giving the subscriber his own product, along with the system to market it. For each of the product packages, Megaredpacket team takes care of setting the e-commerce systems to market it under the subscriber’s own domain name.

There are real advantages of having your own product but first, you need to properly understand the distinction between having own product and being an affiliate and knowing exactly what marketing strategy to employ.

With your own product, first of all you keep all the sale proceeds. That in itself may not sound much but it will definitely give you an advantage when running PPC campaigns. You can also drive traffic using Google adwords directly without having to skip around Google’s double serving rule.

For those who have had some experience dabbling with affiliate marketing, Megaredpacket provides a natural progression towards joining the small percentage of top marketers who has their own products and systems.

If you are just going to use it just like any other affiliate program, $697 is probably a wasted investment.
